Looking ahead:  Tue continue to revise text--- workshop some for suggestions, Wed rehearse performance, Thur VIDEOTAPED performances (perhaps "on location")

HW: work on finishing and revising Performance Poem--- aim for 30+ lines

Start thinking about writing your own performance poem--thinking about utilizing as many vocab words as you can logically, and definitely use as many literary devices as you can rough draft due on Monday. (Tue/Wed will be an additional writing/rehearsing day.)

Be Specific about what works/what doesn't work
Careful that suggestions improve writing and don't make it yours
Speak in 3rd Person "The Author" (NOT 2nd person "you")

listen carefully DO NOT SPEAK
take specific notes
remember it's YOUR work, you can choose to disagree (silently)
ask questions when it's your chance but DO NOT explain yourself

WORD WARS (might have to wait for Monday)
